Making da burger!
Throwing from one end of the "field" to the other. So the plan is that we'll control both the players, be it the thrower or the catcher (chef). The chef will be making the burger. So let's say the thrower throws all the ingredient and then the chef catch it and is able to make a complete burger, good! But if they fail to catch one ingredient, the screen will have a slight shake and blind the player for a while which comes together with explosion. If the chef catches 2 chilli in a row, here comes the chilli bomb. Which will disturb the game for awhile, and then it resumes.
How is the thrower gonna know when to throw the ingredients while running?
It'll be like the golf games, there's a guage bar below to estimate the strength, direction, etc.

The blind screen idea is from Mario Kart, when your opponent throw the banana and it blinds your screen for a while. (I can't find the reference picture for this)
Chilli bomb, some thing like Plants VS Zombie, POWIE!
